Friday Night Footprints! [Nov. 20th, 2009|12:42 pm]

What I like best about this sequence is the contrast between the bizarre visuals and the completely banal dialogue. They sound like a couple of bored office workers hanging around the water cooler.

Be sure to visit Spacebooger.com later tonight to see all the Friday Night Fights, and vote for your favorite.

From "Warhead Strikes at Gotham", Super Friends #36, 1980. Story by E. Nelson Bridwell, art by Ramona Fradon and Vince Colletta.

Friday Night Fuhgeddaboudit [Oct. 23rd, 2009|01:00 pm]

In this corner, we have Solomon Grundy, a monstrously powerful zombie who regularly goes toe-to-toe with Superman.
And in this corner, we have the Golden Age Atom, who's super-power is...being a short guy.

It turns out pretty much how you'd expect. But "A" for effort, Atom!
